Photograph of the Month

wildflower

Have you ever had an uninvited
guest that you really enjoyed?

This red Indian Paintbrush wildflower arrived in our garden one year, probably blown in by the wind or dropped by one of the birds that frequent our yard.

For four years, it happily bloomed there, giving us many opportunities
to watch it grow and
capture it's magnificence. Then,
it disappeared, apparently tired of the good soil and water we gave it.

Normally, paintbrush grows in the
hot dry Western climate of the
Rocky Mountains and plains. It couldn't tolerate the luxury of our valley garden and what it had
to offer for long.

Because it so beautifully represents the area of the country we live in, we've adopted it as our logo.

We hope that you enjoy this lovely wildflower of the American West.

Our Indian Paintbrush wildflower will work well as a large display print on your living room wall or perhaps as tile art for a back splash in your kitchen.
